A 927-Page OGE Filing And One Very Loud Line Item

Trump filed his 2025 annual disclosure with the US Office of Government Ethics on June 30. It’s 927 pages. Biden’s last one was 11.

The single biggest line is a $635M licensing fee tied to the TRUMP memecoin. The money flows through CIC Digital LLC, a Trump-affiliated entity, under a license deal with Celebration Coins, the issuer. It captures royalties booked in 2025, the year the token launched on the eve of his second inauguration.

The rest of the $1.4B spreads across other ventures. World Liberty Financial, the DeFi outfit Trump co-founded with his sons, showed roughly $594M in token sales plus another $65M in equity at the holding level. A stablecoin play added close to $197M. The full breakdown lives in the 927 pages of Trump’s 2025 annual OGE financial disclosure.

Crypto isn’t a side hustle in this filing. It’s the main line, bigger than every other income category combined. That shift is the real headline nobody in TradFi wanted to print.

Ethics lawyers around the filing flagged it as an unprecedented presidential conflict of interest. The disclosure itself doesn’t trigger anything automatic. It’s a mandatory transparency filing, not a complaint, and the White House said it won’t divest.

Congress hasn’t opened a formal probe on the royalties yet. A handful of Democratic lawmakers pushed for hearings. No timetable set. Regulatory posture stays passive as long as the paperwork is filed on time and the assets stay outside a blind trust.

Retail Is Down 95% While The Issuer Prints Nine Figures

On the token side, the picture is grim. TRUMP trades near $1.71, close to 95% down from the January 2025 all-time high near $75. Roughly 764,000 wallets sit in the red for a combined figure north of $700M.

Some of the recent bleed ties back to unlocks. Around June 24, more than 26M TRUMP tokens hit the market as scheduled unlocks from creator and community allocations rolled through. Fresh supply into thin demand. You know the rest.

In the top-10 memecoin field TRUMP now sits alongside DOGE, SHIB, MemeCore, PEPE, PIPPIN, BONK, Pudgy Penguins, SPX6900 and FLOKI. It’s one of the only names in the pack tied to a real public figure instead of an internet meme. The narrative flipped from culture play to political brand extension somewhere around the second unlock.

Trump pushed back on the disclosure from the White House. He said there’s “nothing wrong” and “nothing illegal” with the crypto haul. No commitment to change any structure. Same defensive frame the family used for World Liberty Financial: private business, separate from the presidency, even though the token’s marketing leans on “Official Trump” branding to move volume.

TRUMP still spikes on presidential news. Each spike now gets weighed against the disclosure and the retail losses in the same breath. Traders treating it as pure liquidity haven’t left. The room to call it “just a fun token” got a lot smaller.

The single number worth watching on TRUMP is the gap: $635M captured on one side, $700M plus lost on the other, in the same 18-month window. That’s not a market anomaly. That’s the whole business model in one line.

Reminder: memecoins have no intrinsic value. Prices are driven by culture, community, and liquidity depth, not by fundamentals. Any position sizing decision belongs to you. Trade only what you can afford to lose. This article is not investment advice.
